Holy Trinity Garland plans support trip to All Saints Camp
Over the years the Brotherhood of St. Andrew has developed a bi-directional relationship of trust and loyalty with the managers, employees and volunteers at the Episcopal Camp All Saints on Lake Texoma. For many years the Brotherhood has labored tirelessly on projects organized at both the chapter and Assembly level as well as with other volunteer organizations. We’ve led and completed missions such as camp clean-up, re-building a pedestrian bridge and assembling and testing six sailboats for camp use. This year Holy Trinity Garland has volunteered to head up a yearly camp clean-up project to ready the camp for its summer season. Details including contact information can be found here We need as many brothers as we can get. There’s no certain time to be there or leave. Nick Anderson will lead the team and he will be there Friday morning to walk the grounds and identify major concerns. Finish time is Saturday at sunset. Again no one is obligated to to arrive or leave at any certain time (before Saturday at sunset). Please bring any tools you think might help (ex chainsaw, weed eater’s, cutters, rakes, shovels ). Be sure to bring sunscreen, bug spray, water canisters, gloves, overnight things; blanket, sheets, pillows, etc. The camp is providing food and shelter for the workers but Nick needs an accurate account on how many are coming.
