Holy Nativity Brotherhood Meeting – September 10, 2011

Our studies continued on Jim Cymbala’s “When God’s Spirit Moves”. We had a good discussion on the themes presented.

The Holy Trinity Garland Oktoberfest is scheduled for October 1. In addition to the brewing face-off, Holy Trinity is having a full pig-roast dinner to which all are invited. Additional details are available here.

The Brotherhood Annual Fish Fry is scheduled for October 16. More details to follow.

The Brotherhood is scheduled to participate October 29 in the Dallas Assembly Habitat for Humanity effort. We will be doing the gardening and punch items. We are looking for as much participation from the parish as possible. The dedication of this final Habitat build is scheduled for November 12.

The Brotherhood is continuing to review our efforts in fund raising and decisions on our support projects.

Our next meeting is scheduled for October 8 at Incarnation, after the quarterly Diocesan Brotherhood meeting. The meeting will be abbreviated with no study session. We will carpool to the meeting from Holy Nativity.

While we have many men of the Parish participating, there are still too many not participating. We welcome all men of the Parish to come and experience the Brotherhood.
