Brotherhood of St. Andrew - Dallas Assembly

Mike Model of Holy Trinity Garland To Stand For Election

Michael Model of Holy Trinity Garland has stepped forward to stand for election to the Dallas Assembly Board.

Mike’s bio:

I am submitting my bio in support of my nomination for the Board of the Dallas Assembly in the November 30 election.

For the past two years, I have been honored to serve as the Director of Holy Trinity Garland’s very vibrant Brotherhood of St. Andrew chapter ministry, supporting the chapter’s activities in Hearts and Hammers projects, Austin Street meal preparation, Patriot Paws’ events, and EYC fund-raising events including the Fall Oktoberfest. I am also currently a Lay Eucharistic Minister and Usher at Holy Trinity, and have lead Alpha training in the parish in the past. I have been a member at Holy Trinity since 2009, when Diane, my wife of 38 years, and I moved to Sachse, and we returned to the church.

I was born and raised in Montana, served 4 years as a US Marine rising to SSgt (E6), graduated with a Master’s degree in Engineering, and employed in NJ and Texas in Engineering Management and Marketing. Diane and I have one son, daughter-in-law and grandson, living in California.

I am blessed to have served the Brotherhood in my current role, and would be honored to serve in support of the Dallas Assembly.

Best Regards,

Michael (Mike) Model
