Brotherhood of St. Andrew - Dallas Assembly

Bruce Hinchey of Epiphany To Stand For Election

Bruce Hinchey of Epiphany Richardson has stepped forward to stand for election to the Dallas Assembly Board as Secretary.

Bruce’s bio:

I am submitting my biography in support of my nomination for Diocesan Secretary.

I was born in Wichita, Kansas but was raised in several states growing up. After High School I enlisted in the U.S. Army and served just under seven years. I rose to the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 2006. Afterwards, I proceeded to complete my Bachelors of Arts in English at St. Edward’s University while working for the Travis County Sheriff’s Office as a Correctional Officer. In 2011 my wife and I moved to Dallas and today I work for the Dallas Independent School District as a Special Education Teacher for children with Autism.

I have been a  member of Epiphany since 2011, and along with my service to the Brotherhood, I currently serve Epiphany as a Lay Eucharist Minister, Parent Volunteer for our Children’s Chapel, and volunteer regularly for projects to help forward Epiphany’s and The Brotherhood’s mission. These projects include Labor of Love, Austin Street Shelter, Coleman Mission Trip, and Hearts and Hammers. I have been proactive in working with my local chapter to increase membership among our younger Parishioners by organizing a weekend Brotherhood meeting to accommodate those with a busy schedule.

Best Regards,

Bruce Hinchey
