2023 PATRIOT PAWS CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT RESULTS

The Dallas Diocese Assembly of the Brotherhood of St Andrew had another successful charity golf tournament benefiting Patriot PAWS Service Dogs.  God provided a sunny and comfortable day enjoyed by all.  This event is the annual Assembly’s Diocesan service project as one of our charted disciplines.  The mission of Patriot PAWS, a member of Assistance Dogs International (ADI), is to train carefully selected candidates to assist disabled Veterans in myriad every day tasks made difficult or impossible by their injury.  The tournament was played on the Old Course at Firewheel Golf Park in Garland.  A second successful part of this program involves an agreement with the Texas Department of Corrections in vetting qualified inmates at the Gainesville Women’s Prison to assist in early training.  This program has resulted in one of the lowest rates of recidivism for a prison service group in the state of Texas.  Here are the winning teams of this year’s tournament.
