2016 Patriot Paws Charity Golf Tournament

The Dallas Assembly of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew along with several Patriot PAWS volunteers organized the 2016 Patriot PAWS Charity Golf Tournament.  Although there were some concerns about rainy weather, for the second year in a row, God provided a fantastic day for golf.  The recent rains contributed to great course conditions at Buffalo Creek Golf Club in Heath, Texas.  We had a 132 golfers take to the links for a fun day of golf and interaction with dogs in training and their handlers.  This year, we were blessed to have several veterans with their companion dogs  who participated in the tournament.

This year’s winners, team and individual are:

First Gross – Grant Seabolt, David Honeycutt, Sean Sweeden, and Austin Wood.

Second Gross – Mike Kovar, Dan Montgomery, Andy Pickell, and Steve Laramay.

First Net – Tommy Yetts, Randall Horton, Scott Hooper, and David Day.

Second Net – Al Nix, Mike Moore, and Jim Vineyard

Closest to Hole #4 – Josh Connally

Closest to Hole #12 – Mike McEvers

Closest to Hole #17 – Nick Gerber

Longest Drive Men – Richard Kenimer

Closest to the Line – Bret Eckert

Putting Contest – Sean Sweeden

We thank all the golfers and our sponsors for making this year’s golf tournament a great success and look forward to seeing you next year for the 6th annual Patriot PAWS Charity Golf Tournament.
