3rd Quarterly Meeting, September 7th

Dear Brothers,I hope all of you have
had a pleasant and safe summer. Time does seem to pass so quickly and we will
soon have our 3^rd quarter assembly. It will be on Saturday, 7
September at Christ Church, 534 W 10^th Street, Dallas, TX 75208.
Registration is 8 to 8:30.Our brothers at Christ Church are gracious hosts that provide a wonderful breakfast and great company. Just as impressive is the power of their out reach to their community. The fellowship that we experience with them is always refreshing and beneficial to our shared faith. I look forward to visiting with each of you, my brothers, as we gather in Christian fellowship and community.A word about program: At our Q2 assembly, hosted by our Saint Michael And All Angels brothers, we had an insightful presentation by Brother Mark Demler on human trafficking, currently one of the great evils in our society. At our upcoming Q3 assembly Rebecca Jowers, will present “Human Trafficking Part 2”. Rebecca’s presentation adds an important female insight. She founded the Poiema  Foundation, https://poiemafoundation.org/, to educate the public and raise awareness in order to prevent sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and other methods of sexual exploitation. There is no more important issue today than this one because it touches so many other areas where we have serious societal problems and most importantly because our youth are among the targeted.Rebecca Jowers holds a masters degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Texas at El Paso, where she graduated summa cum laude. Her passion is restoring victims of human trafficking. She has been married to her husband, Raymond, for 24 years and they have four daughters.To view/print a map to Christ Church click here.Please
