The Dallas Assembly of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew held the first quarter meeting of 2015 at Christ Episcopal Church in Dallas, TX on March 7. The meeting began with a wonderful breakfast prepared by the Brotherhood Chapter of Christ Church. The Rector of Christ Church is The Rev. Fabian Villalobos. Fr. Villalobos began the morning with a prayer of grace before breakfast was served.

Beginning at 9am, Jim Cox, Assembly President welcomed everyone attending. Jim thanked Fr. Villalobos and the Brothers of the Chapter for their willingness to host the meeting and for the preparation of a wonderful breakfast.

The meeting began with the Brotherhood of St. Andrew Order of Service (Opening).

Annette Jenkins of One Man’s Treasure provided a very informative and enlightening presentation regarding One Man’s Treasure, a ministry providing sets of clothing to be provided for men being released from prison. Larry Maxwell presented a Treasurer’s Report.

The Officers of the Dallas Assembly were recognized.

Fr. JD Brown provided a preview regarding the Beer Brewing Instruction presentation to be made at the May 30 quarterly meeting at Holy Nativity in Plano.

Jim Vineyard provided information for the Patriot Paws Golf Tournament in June. The goal is 144 golfers and $33,000 raised to be donated to Patriot Paws.

Holy Trinity announced their Annual Range Day on March 14, 2015.

St. Andrews Farmers Branch

Fr. Craig Reed reminded everyone to pray for the four nominees for the election of a new Bishop for the Diocese of Dallas.

Jim Cox introduced the new sign-in sheets and how to use them. The National Membership Form to use to make the annual Ministry Pledge payments was also reviewed.

The meeting concluded with the  Brotherhood of St. Andrew Order of Service (Closing).

The next Dallas Assembly meeting will be at Holy Nativity in Plano on May 30, 2015.
