Redeemer Irving Hosts Fish Fry
Brother Charlie Brockett reports:
On Sunday March 30th The BStA Chapter at Redeemer Irving hosted a fish fry following our 10:30 AM service. We served up fried catfish, fresh made hush puppies and fresh cut and fried French fries. The parish provided side dishes.
The Brotherhood Chapter used this event as an educational event to let our growing parish know who we are and what we are about. We distributed flyers with applications and are awaiting the fruits of our labors.
Based on the amount of food served and the minimal leftovers we felt that it was well received. We received high praises from many of the attendees. We asked for donations and were pleasantly surprised by the amount we received.
The attached pictures tell the story better then we can.
