National Workday 2013 – Camp All Saints

The Dallas Assembly 2013 National Workday Project was focused on various needs at the Diocese of Dallas Camp All Saints on Lake Texoma just outside of Pottsboro, Texas. While there were many Chapter and individual projects executed on that day this report relates only to the Assembly Workday projects at Camp All Saints.

Present at the workday were the Assembly President, John Curtis, the past Assembly President and Assembly Advisor, Robby Gerber, the Diocesan Coordinator, Don Candy and other Brothers from nine chapters totaling thirty-two Brothers in all. Deacon Pam Dunbar brought a similar number of Diocesan youth and adult supervisors.

Together, the Brothers and Youth put in well over 300 person hours and accomplished much to improve the camp’s beauty and functionality.

Projects included clearing and burning brush from camp trails, interior and exterior repairs, roadway repairs and sailboat and boat dolly assembly for the camp’s new sailing program.
