Holy Nativity Brotherhood Meeting – March 9, 2011

A good crowd was in attendance for the start of our new Brotherhood of St. Andrew Study – Kyle Idleman’s – Gods at War. Jeff Wright led the group as we discussed what our idols might be by looking at these questions:

  • What’s our biggest disappointment?
  • Where does our time & money go?
  • What do we worry about?
  • When we hurt, where do we go for comfort?
  • What makes us mad (angry)?
  • What do we dream of, or, what are we passionate about?

We looked at two passages of scripture; Judges 2:11-15 and Joshua 24. We were encouraged to follow the daily sessions for lesson 1 and write in our journal as part of our study.

During our business meeting, a motion was made by Jeff Wright to support two of our own for Kairos (Tony Gerber & Ghahre Pascale). This was unanimously approved.

Our next meeting will be 4/13/13. All men are invited, both in and out of the parish.
