2012 Fort Worth Brotherhood of St. Andrew Retreat

The 2012 Brotherhood of St. Andrew Retreat in Granbury Texas was a huge success. The purpose of the weekend was to bring clergy and laymen together for the worship of Jesus Christ and advancement of men’s ministries. The retreat leader, The Rt. Rev. Mark Lawrence, Bishop of The Diocese of South Carolina, taught from the second letter to Timothy “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”.

The 2 day event involved 4 Sessions of teaching, table discussions, group discussions, lively fellowship as well as songs of worship led by Father Chris Culpepper. The event ended with a solemn Eucharist with Dean Ryan Reed celebrating. A total of 96 men were present (laymen and priests) from 4 states. The denominations present included Episcopalian, Anglican, Roman Catholic and Baptist.
