The Epiphany Brotherhood Chapter hosted a Fr John Drake Memorial golf tournament and All Saints feast on 6 November 2015 at Duck Creek Golf Club with the feast following at the church.  The proceeds from this event were donated to St Simons After School Program to be used to give selected children in need the opportunity to attend the Episcopal School of Dallas.  This fund is currently called the Father John Drake, Mike McAuley and John Cook Memorial Scholarship Fund.Fr John Drake

Father Drake found eternal rest with the Father on July 25, 2011. He was a faithful servant to many parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. Epiphany-Richardson was blessed with his presence as Parish Assistant since 1996. To honor Fr. John several parishioners instituted the Fr. John Drake Golf Classic in 2002 and designated the proceeds to his discretionary fund, from which he funded many outreach programs such as The Brotherhood for Habitat Program, Austin Street Centre, the Epiphany Honduras mission and the Saint Simon’s After School Program.

In 2003 Epiphany established a Brotherhood chapter and since the golfers and Fr. John were all Brothers it became a Brotherhood of St. Andrew project. Father John was a lifetime Brother, the past Brotherhood Chaplain for St. Michael and All Angels as well as the past Diocesan Brotherhood Chaplain for many years.

Each year the Epiphany chapter of the Brotherhood supports the Annual Brotherhood of Saint Andrew PatriotPaws Charity Golf Tournament. This tournament is held annually by the Diocese of Dallas Assembly of the Brotherhood in the greater Dallas area, raising funds for PatriotPaws; an organization that provides Service Dogs specifically trained for aiding disabled veterans.
